Trent Concrete's own Five Nations event
Trent Concrete today announced that, coinciding with the current rugby union tournament, it has an active project in each country constituting the British Isles.
In Ireland, Trent is currently fixing reconstructed stone cladding at two office developments on the Sandyford Industrial Estate near Dublin. These contracts form the first successes under Trent's export strategy.
In Northern Ireland, Trent has started on its reconstructed stone cladding contract for a nine-storey office building on Mays Meadow in Belfast. This is Trent's first project in Northern Ireland, and the development forms part of the Belfast city centre regeneration programme.
In Scotland, Trent has recently won the contract to clad a swimming pool at the University of Stirling. This project is Trent's latest with Balfour Beatty, which has recently appointed Trent as a preferred specialist precast concrete sub-contractor under its partnering charter.
In Wales, Trent is designing and manufacturing 2800 m2 precast concrete cladding for a new office development at Bute Square in Cardiff. Precast was specified here as a quality material which would enhance the civic scale of the building.
In England, Trent is currently working on many projects including its sixth partnered project with Carillion at Farnborough Business Park, a Hopkins-designed college at Nottingham University, a follow-on project on a hotel at The Trafford Centre in Manchester and an architectural GRC contract at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design.
