Hard Landscape

Trent manufactures bespoke hard landscape in purpose-designed mixes or to match a cladding finish.

Hardwall Cladding

Insulated sandwich cladding with high thermal capacity. The external face is cast down to produce a reconstructed stone or any self finish. The inner face can be trowelled smooth to a self finish. Hardwall cladding needs no sheeting rails or sage rods. Hardwall can be used as a load bearing wall to produce a column free structure.

Haulage

Trent operates a partnered arrangement with Steads Transport. Steads have specialist knowledge gained over many years to safely transport precast components to site.

Health & Safety

We employ a full time Health and Safety Manager. Safety training is given high priority. Trent was awarded a 5 star certificate (the highest) by the British Safety Council.

Heights (maximum)

An efficient way of transporting panels is semi vertical on an 'A' frame. The maximum height of such panels is 4.2m.

High Frequency Vibration

The factory casting process uses high frequency vibration to compact the concrete. Frequency converters are used to raise the vibrator motor speed by 2½ times.

Hoisting

All lifting operations in the factory and on site are only undertaken by trained and certificated employees.

Honed Finish

A smooth surface finish formed by 'stoning' the ex-mould face.

Horse Shoe Washer

A packing shim with a bolt slot extending to the lower edge. These shims can be inserted without removing the bolt.

Hybrid Construction

Using the best properties of two structural materials in combination. Precast and structural steel (See Paddington Station); and precast and in-situ concrete (See Toyota H.Q.).
